Lori Sabina Piecyk

I am a ceramic artist residing in Chicago, Illinois. My work is influenced by my interests in utilitarian craft and folk art, textiles, and pattern. Craft arts have such a connection for me with home. The objects we use daily can evoke memory and history. The objects we choose to populate our homes with act as a living museum to our lives and our interests.

I intend to make objects that are used often and loved, that are a modern take on traditional folk patterns I often saw in long kept heirlooms in my childhood home, and that can connect love of nature in the day to day life.
